Measurement Method

Anodic stripping voltammetry is an internationally recognized method for detecting trace heavy metals, which meets international standards.

 

How It Works

 

The pre-treated water sample is injected into a special electrolytic cell composed of multiple electrodes by injection pump, and then reacts with strong acidic reagents first, through which all forms of arsenic to be measured in the water sample are uniformly converted into ionic state, and then masking agent is added to eliminate the influence of interfering substances on the measurement and eliminate oxygen in the solution. Finally, the electrode system in the electrolytic cell is started. Through the electrode process of enrichment, static, scanning, etc., the position of the anode dissolution peak generated by the reverse scanning process represents different kinds of heavy metals to be measured, and the size of the anode dissolution peak is proportional to the concentration of the heavy metal substance, so the arsenic content to be measured in water can be calculated according to the peak potential and peak current.

Three electrode system, according to the measurement object can replace the corresponding Au electrode, Ag electrode, Hg membrane electrode, glass carbon electrode;
