System Introduction

 

The total organic carbon (TOC) content is a very important index of water quality, and the TOC value can be calculated into the COD value. The TOC online analyzer provides a fast and accurate method to continuously measure the TOC value in real time. Measuring TOC value can be used to assess the pollution level of water quality, and can also provide organic matter leakage alarm, widely used in boilers, deionized water, R.O. (reverse osmosis pure water) systems, catalytic towers, rivers, sewage treatment and other detection. The product has the advantages of simple structure, convenient connection, easy maintenance, easy upgrading and low operating cost, and is suitable for water quality testing in various industrial enterprises, environmental monitoring departments and teachers and students teaching in relevant colleges and universities. The wet oxidation non-dispersive infrared detection method has high sensitivity and wide application range, which is suitable for online water quality detection of industrial water, surface water, groundwater and process water. The UV oxidation conductance detection method is highly sensitive and is very suitable for online water quality detection of pharmaceutical water, purified water in the electronics industry and RO system water in other industrial processes. The specific application and measurement method can be customized according to the user’s on-site requirements.

 

How It Works

 

The sample is acidified with a strong acid solution at the head of the advanced analysis unit, then jetted with carrier gas to remove the inorganic carbon, and the water sample is then fed into a reaction tank equipped with a UV lamp. After high intensity ultraviolet irradiation and strong oxidant oxidation, samples containing organic components can be rapidly oxidized into CO2 by wet oxidation and exposure to ultraviolet irradiation, and CO2 is taken away from the reaction tank by carrier gas. After drying in the gas-liquid separator and dryer, the TOC concentration in the water sample is analyzed by detecting infrared absorption or conductivity through NDIR non-dispersed infrared light detector or conductance cell.

 

System Features

 

1, automatic calibration: Analyzer calibration is automatically performed, typically every 24 hours. The result of correction will be automatically recorded and compared with the previous data, if it exceeds a certain limit, the system will automatically alarm and operate according to the previous data. In addition to automatic calibration, the pure water TOC online analyzer can also be manually calibrated to obtain good data.

2, no reagent/no sample alarm: when the reagent solution is used up, when the sample is blocked due to pipeline or no sample, the system will display the corresponding alarm information on the display screen.

3, automatic cleaning: The cleaning of the TOC online analyzer is automatically executed, which can prevent pipeline blockage and bacteria, greatly reducing the cost of maintenance.

4, automatic control, user programmable detection parameters, adapt to different applications, at the same time start the control center alarm machine after power call again, automatically restore the working state
