Measurement Principle

 

The water samples were injected into the digestion tank by injection pump, and then the reducing agent was injected to reduce the various forms of molybdenum in water to the same valence state. Secondly, the buffer solution is injected again, adjusted to the appropriate PH value, and then the characteristic color developer is added, molybdenum and the color developer in the water produce orange-yellow complex, and then the photoelectric colorimeter is used to measure the color change of the orange-yellow complex at a certain wavelength, and then the content of molybdenum in the water is calculated according to the Lambert-Beer law.
