Measurement Principle

 

The working principle of U-900 in-water uranium analyzer is to convert all forms of uranium (including different valence states, organic states, complex states, etc.) into the same valence state through acidification and digestion, and then extract online several times after hiding other interfering ions, and then add characteristic color reagent to measure the total content of uranium in surface water and industrial wastewater.

 

System Overview

 

The pre-treated water sample is injected into a special reactor by an injection pump and reacts with oxidizing reagents. All forms of uranium in the water sample are oxidized to the same valence uranium ion, and then excess oxidizing agent is reduced, and then the pH of the solution is adjusted, and the characteristic chromogenic agent is added for extraction and chromogenic reaction. The degree of color change is proportional to the total uranium concentration in the water sample, and the total uranium content in the water sample can be calculated by measuring the degree of color change. The on-line extraction technology is used to reduce the detection line of the on-line uranium analyzer in water, so that the instrument can be used for real-time continuous monitoring of uranium concentration in water in various industries.
