Measurement Method

 

Colorimetric determination of characteristic developing agent after acid oxidation and masking interference ions.

System Overview

 

The pre-treated water sample is injected into the colorimetric tank by the injection pump, and then the masking agent is added to eliminate the influence of interfering substances. Then the pH of the solution is adjusted, and the characteristic color developer is added under the appropriate pH condition for color reaction. The color change of the solution within the measurement range is proportional to the concentration of hexvalent chromium in the water sample. You can calculate the amount of hexavalent chromium in the water sample. If the total chromium is measured, the oxidizer is added to the automatic line after pretreatment to oxidize the chromium of various valence states into hexavalent chromium, and then the colorimetric determination is carried out.
